Subject: The Ram's Head Review

Hi Fellow Rams,
 
There were 5 of us here for the meeting Thursday.
 
Robin started off by reading us a piece he wrote about falling into his compost bin and having trouble getting out.  He called it "Non Compos "T" Mentis".  His story included a series of pictures illustrating this adventure.
 
Ellie read another chapter showing Medala and Drusana and Jarod and Adros' daughter escaping from the banquet.  The figure that looks like Adros turns into the evil Gamadon.  He discovers that Melrick is dead and his mind has been purged.  Gamadon's power is lessened and he searches for the elixir Melrick had brought.
 
Gemma read a piece called "An Accident", about several episodes with their dog Heidi and their inablity to control her, which could leave them sprawling on the ground.  She is going to send this piece to Cup Of Comfort.
 
Robin read us several poems.  One was "Bestest Buddy Fido" which dealt with missing his dead dog as a child.  Another rendition of it had the dog called Spot.  Another poem was about a short-necked giraffe.  And the final poem was a more modern rendition of "'Twas The Night Before Christmas".  All of the poems were humorous and made us laugh.
 
I read several excerpts from a book I have called "A Writer's Book Of Days".  It has writing prompts in it for every day of the year.  I had been working on my novel, but hadn't finished the next chapter yet.
 
Bob said he hadn't done any writing, that he needs to do more research and make some phone calls before he can put any more on paper.
 
Lynette was away, but said she will be back this week.
