THE RAM’S HEAD REVIEW

November 9, 2007

Four members were here Thursday night.

Margaret read first about Marie finally meeting Jonathan. He looked very much like a man she had loved. She knew he was her son, but tried telling him he was either her sister’s or her cousin’s. But, being a detective, he knew Marie was his mother and he had a daughter who looked just like her, same sea blue eyes.

Ellie read more about the girl trapped in her uncle’s palace. She looks out a window, longing for her freedom. In frustration she kicks at a wall panel, which opens and reveals a hidden passage.

Carolann read a poem she titled “Time”, about the passage of a boy through life from childhood to old age. We also learned that Carolann’s true ghost story was published the previous week in The Langley Advance. She had missed seeing it as they had changed it’s title.

I read a short personal piece about wanting to seek my spiritual source rather than trying to find my physical lineage in this world.

And then our conversation veered off to the paranormal. Carolann is psychic and does Tarot readings. I brought out some Tarot cards and books, and a set of Medicine Cards. We thought maybe we should have had a séance, or group meditation. Would we have a bigger turnout if we did? Mmmm… I wonder.

Next meeting here at my place on Thursday, November 15th at 7:00 p.m. And don’t forget a minute of silence at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, for all the vets who gave so much, and in honour of those in uniform today.

See you Thursday.
